demo3New Glasgow along with the towns of Stellarton, Westville, Trenton and Pictou make up Nova Scotia's fourth largest urban area. The population of New Glasgow is 9,455, 20.33% of the county’s total population with a population density of 952.6/km2 in an area of 9.93km2 the (2006 Census).
