Craig has had 15 years of experience in Water Treatment. He began his career with the Town of Truro in 2000 and joined the Town of New Glasgow in 2002.

Craig attended high school in New Glasgow and then received a Bachelor of Science degree with a Joint Advanced Major in Geology and Chemistry from St. Francis Xavier University in 1999. He has attained the following Nova Scotia Certifications: Level 4 in Water Treatment, Level 3 in Water Distribution, and a Level 2 in Waste Water Collection.

Prior to accepting his management role with the Town of New Glasgow, Craig was an executive member of CUPE Local 281 as Treasurer. He is currently a Director and Treasurer of the Maritime Provinces Water and Wastewater Association (MPWWA), where he has been a member of the board for six years. Craig was the Chair of the 2014 MPWWA Conference held in Halifax.

Craig has also just accepted a new position as a Director of the Nova Scotia Comfit 50 kW Owners Association (NSCOA), representing the Town’s interests in our wind turbine located at Forbes Lake.
