The New Glasgow Regional Police is seeking the public's assistance for information about a report that was received by the New Glasgow Regional Police early this morning at 3:30 am. The caller called to report that two small children were walking Eastbound on Strickland Avenue in Trenton, Nova Scotia at approximately 3:30am in the early morning and was concerned for their safety.


New Glasgow Regional Police immediately conducted a search of the area but did not locate any young persons in the area.


New Glasgow Regional Police preliminary investigation revealed that police do not suspect any foul play and that they have not received any missing person’s reports at this time.


New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
