On Wednesday February 22 at approximately 4:30 PM, the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Stellarton Police Service, and the New Glasgow Regional Police Canine Unit, executed a search warrant on South Foord Street, Stellarton, Nova Scotia. As a result, police seized a quantity of cocaine from the residence.

Subsequently, police arrested a 28-year-old male from Stellarton who is facing one count of possession of a Schedule I controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. The male has been released from police custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
