The Town of New Glasgow is inviting citizens to apply to serve on the following committees that assist Council with achieving its goals and objectives for the community:

• Community Development Advisory Committee - One Citizen Representative from Ward One (Three-year term) – Two Citizen Representatives from Ward Two  (three-year term) – One Citizen Representative from Ward Three (three-year term)
• Inclusive Communities – One Citizen Representative from the African Nova Community  – One Citizen Representative from the Pictou Landing First Nation Community
• New Glasgow Business  Advisory Committee - One Citizen Representative from Westside Plaza(Three-year term) – One Citizen Representative from Stellarton Rd/Westville Rd Businesses Active Living Advisory Committee – One Citizen Representative for Healthy Lifestyle - One Citizen Representative from African Nova Scotia Community – One Citizen Representative from Seniors Community – One Citizen Representative from the Youth Community
•Active Living Advisory Committee - One Citizen Representative Healthy Lifestyle - One Citizen Representative African Nova Scotia - One Citizen Representative Seniors - One Citizen Representative Youth
