March 8th Edition featuring Ian Kamp and Dillon Ryan
East Coast DNA and Glasgow Square welcome you to the third installment of Songs From The Square — a monthly songwriter showcase celebrating Eastern Canadian artists in an intimate, story-driven listening-room setting.
Designed for music lovers who appreciate connection and craft, this afternoon series invites audiences to slow down, listen closely, and experience original songs the way they were meant to be heard — alongside the stories, inspirations, and creative processes behind them.
Each show is recorded live as part of the Songs From The Square series. Episode 1 is available now at YouTube.com/@eastcoastdna>, Episode 2 is coming soon — and on March 8, you can be part of the live recording of Episode 3.

Ian Kamp is a Pictou County, Nova Scotia–based singer–songwriter whose warm, understated style blends introspective storytelling with the easy charm of a seasoned collaborator. His thoughtful lyricism and quietly compelling delivery reflect the same honesty and attention to detail he brings to his work at Shoebox Studios, grounding his music in personal narrative, melodic subtlety, and a deep connection to the North Shore community.
Dillon Ryan
Dillon Ryan is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Miramichi, New Brunswick. Ryan has played over 800 shows in Canada and released 3 albums to date. Gaining radio airplay and song placement in Canada as well as having some interest internationally. With their single “River Of Past Reflection” having radio rotation in Europe/UK, Ryan is also a 7 time Music New Brunswick Award nominee and winner of the MNB “2017 fans choice award” as well as showcasing for the East Coast Music Awards. Ryan has opened for and shared the stage as a part of other bands with such greats as Lee Aaron, Sloan, Haywire, Bryan Potvin (The Northern Pikes), Matt Mays and recently finished an east coast tour with Canadian Rock legends The Grapes Of Wrath. Currently touring in support of their new album “In Polaroid” which was released April 26th 2024 Co-Produced by Halifax Based Producer John Mullane. In June of 2025 Ryan was recognized by excellence NB for best English artist voted for by the public.
