By credit card
To make tax and/or utility payments by credit card, you may use the Plastiq system.
Plastiq is a third-party automated payment service that charges a convenience fee to cover its handling and processing. For each transaction, two charges will appear on your credit card statement: 1) the principal amount of the payment and 2) the fee. The Town of New Glasgow does not receive any part of the service fee.
You will need to enter your payment information, including your tax or utility bill account number, credit card details and payment amount. After you confirm to pay the Plastiq convenience fee, your transaction will be completed, and you will be provided with a confirmation number. Town Hall will receive instant notification of your payment and it will be posted to your account within 1-3 business days.
You may also use Plastiq to pay for water and sewer bills online with a credit card.
Plastiq can also be used to pay property taxes online with a credit card.
