PotsandPans is a music duo based in Belnan, Nova Scotia, known for their inviting vibe, authentic songwriting, and earworm-worthy melodic rhythms.
Fronted by songwriter and lead vocalist Darlene MacNeil, whose powerful and commanding voice was shaped on the stages of small-town Nova Scotia, the duo brings stories rooted in lived experience. Darlene’s lyrics reflect on the heartache and humor found in the wisdom of the past half-century — delivered with truth, love, and laughter.
On lead guitar and vocals is Greg Roberts, a self-taught musician who grew up in Labrador with a deep love for music. Performing wasn’t always part of his plan — until he met Darlene.
Together, they create a sound that is unmistakably their own: heartfelt, honest, and warmly engaging.
Joining the Belnan-based duo will be local favourites 11th & Duke.
The duo of Nathan Gerrior and Meghan Watters, also known as 11th & Duke, are a genre-blending collective from Trenton, Nova Scotia, rooted in family and place. Formed in the wake of personal loss, the project channels grief, gratitude, and community into a sound that moves fluidly between Delta blues, Appalachian country, southern rock, and intimate singer-songwriter storytelling.
Nathan and Meg share a natural vocal chemistry — gritty warmth meeting bright clarity — supported by a rotating lineup of some of Pictou County’s strongest players. Their debut album, dedicated to the family member who inspired the band’s creation, spans foot-stomping grooves, reflective ballads, and full-band anthems.
