The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise residents and motorists that crews are completing the installation of a new valve at the intersection of Little Harbour Rd. and Norma St. that will impact water service on the following streets:

Little Harbour Rd. (Shelburne St. – Town Limits),
Lancaster Ave.,
Dover Ave. (Little Harbour Rd. – Highland Dr.),
Norma Ct.,
Shelburne St.,
Cottage St. (Shelburne St. – Little Harbour Rd.),
MacLaren Ave.,
Norma St. (Mount Batton Dr. – Little Harbour Rd.)

This work will take place on Tuesday, April 7^th, 2026, with an alternate weather day on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm each day.

Work will impact water customers on all the above streets causing a possible loss of water from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Customers may experience low pressure and dirty water for a short period following the work and should flush their system thoroughly to remove any residual dirt. Traffic control will be in place including detours where necessary. Please drive safely through this worksite and be aware of pedestrians, workers, and work vehicles
