The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise residents that a fireworks display has been authorized to be held on Friday, February 6th, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the West Side Community Centre, as part of their Winter Carnival celebrations.

Pets and animals: Fireworks can be very distressing for pets. Please keep your animals indoors and create a safe, quiet space for them during the show. Consider playing some soothing music to help calm them.

Individuals with sensory sensitivities: Fireworks can be overwhelming for those with sensory sensitivities. If you or someone you know may be affected, consider using earplugs and watching from a distance or moving to a quieter area.
