Water Service Repair at Acadia St. and Brookside Ave. affecting Residents on: Acadia St. and surrounding areas

The Town of New Glasgow Water Utility wishes to advise residents near the intersection of Acadia St. and Brookside Ave., along with Shelburne St., Oak St., High St., Branch St., Cottage St., Bernard St., Fraser St., North Provost St. that a Water Service Repair is scheduled to occur between 8:00am – 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The repair work may impact water service causing low water pressure and a possible water outage. If you experience any of these issues we encourage you to contact the Engineering Office at (902)755-8351 to report issues and get an estimated restoration time.

In addition customers may experience low pressure and dirty water for a short period following the work and should flush their system thoroughly to remove any residual dirt.

Traffic control will be in place on Brookside Avenue and Acadia St. residents are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible. Please drive safely through this worksite and be aware of pedestrians, workers, and work vehicles
