CONSTRUCTION WORK & ROAD RESTRICTIONS

TOWN OF NEW GLASGOW

PROVOST ST. (GEORGE ST. – JURY ST.)

The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise motorists that the following street Provost St. (George St. – Jury St.) will have road closed and traffic control in place starting Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 12:00am (midnight) to 8:00am. There will be no street parking permitted during these hours to allow street line painting to occur.

Construction is weather dependent and updates to the construction completion will be posted on the Town’s website.

These closures are necessary to permit road paving work.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and parking whenever possible, detours will be in place. Free parking during these hours is available at Glasgow Square and the Farmers Market parking lots.
