New Glasgow Regional Police investigate a four (4) -vehicle motor vehicle collision in New Glasgow

New Glasgow Regional Police are currently investigating a four-vehicle collision that occurred late this morning on East River Road in New Glasgow.
At 11:59 a.m. on August 23, police responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision involving four vehicles in the southbound lane of East River Road.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a Honda Civic was travelling southbound on East River Road and was attempting to make a left turn into a shopping plaza. A Suzuki Vitara SUV and a Ford F-150 were also stopped behind the Honda Civic. A fourth vehicle, a Chevrolet Colorado truck travelling in the same direction and lane collided with stopped Ford 150 causing a chain reaction.
Two occupants of Chevrolet Colorado truck were transported to Aberdeen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
New Glasgow Fire Department and Emergency Health Services attended the scene.
New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
