Did you know that there are two sections of the Trans Canada Trail in New Glasgow?

The “Pictou to New Glasgow Water Trail” is a 16.3km section along Amasipukwejk (The East River) starting from the public docks outside of Glasgow Square Theatre. Paddlers can use this section to travel all the way to the Pictou Harbour!

The 3.5km long “Town of New Glasgow Trail” takes users along North Provost Street, George Street and the Samson Trail. This section links up with the Albion Trail to the south, and the Town of Trenton to the north, in addition to the Pictou to New Glasgow Water Trail.
