The Town of New Glasgow invites residents and visitors to celebrate Labour Day weekend at the Summer Send Off on Sunday, September 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Scott W. Weeks Sports Complex.

The free, family-friendly event will feature a community barbecue, food trucks, face painting, activities and games, bouncy castles, an appearance by the Town Crier and more.

Local band Reckless will provide live entertainment from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of music, activities and community fun as New Glasgow celebrates the end of summer.
