The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise motorists that the following street Provost St. (George St. – Jury St.) will have road closed and traffic control in place starting Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 8:00pm to 8:00am Thursday, August 14, 2025, and again Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 8:00pm to 8:00am Friday August 15, 2025. There will be no street parking permitted during these hours to allow street paving to occur.

Construction is weather dependent and updates to the construction completion will be posted on the Town’s website.

These closures are necessary to permit road paving work.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and parking whenever possible, detours will be in place. Free parking during these hours is available at Glasgow Square and the Farmers Market parking lots.
