CONSTRUCTION WORK & ROAD PAVING
TOWN OF NEW GLASGOW
VARIOUS LOCATIONS

The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise motorists that Road Paving will happen on the following streets:

August 18, 2025 7:00am – 7:00pm -    MacKay St. (George St. – Forbes St.)
August 19, 2025 5:00am – 7:00pm -    MacLean St. (Provost St. – Archimedes St.) &
                                                         -    East River Rd. (King St. – Granville St.)

August 20, 2025 7:00am – 7:00pm -    MacKay St. (George St. – Forbes St.) & 
                                                        -    Forbes St. (Temperance St. – Albert St.)

August 21, 2025 7:00am – 7:00pm -    Westville Rd. (Western Ave. – Town Limits)
August 22, 2025 7:00am – 7:00pm -    Forbes St. (Temperance St. – Albert St.)

August 25, 2025 (Night 8pm-8am)  –   Westville Rd. (Western Ave. -Town Limits)
August 26, 2025 (Night 8pm-8am)  –   Westville Rd. (Western Ave. -Town Limits)

Traffic Control will be in place and lane restrictions. These restrictions are needed to complete road paving.

Construction is weather dependent and updates to the construction schedule will be posted on the Town’s website in the event there are any delays. Motorists are advised to follow signage and use caution when travelling in the construction zones.
