Step 1. Create an Account & Apply Online

You can apply for permits online using the Town of New Glasgow’s Cityworks Online Service Portal. Creating an account allows you to submit applications, upload documents, and track the status of your permit.

1. Open the Online Service Portal

Visit the Town’s Online Service Portal and select Create an Account.

2. Enter Your Information

Fill in the required details, including your name, email address, and password.

3. Verify Your Email Address

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from the Town of New Glasgow Planning and Development Department.
Click the activation link in the email to verify your account. The link expires after two days.

Once verified, return to the login page and sign in using the Login ID and password you created. Your account will then be active.

4. Start Your Application

After signing in, select the permit or application type you need and follow the instructions to submit your application online.

You can upload supporting documents, review your submission, and monitor the status of your application through the portal at any time.
