In accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the Province of Nova Scotia and applicable Town Policies and By-Laws, the Town of New Glasgow is soliciting proposals to lease and operate the 34,550 square foot waterfront property located at 145 Riverside Parkway New Glasgow, Nova Scotia for use as a recreational public marina and complimentary business. Located within the downtown core, this property offers access to local eateries, retail businesses, walking trails, and the New Glasgow Farmer's Market. This facility presents an exciting oppprtunity for innovative entrepreneurs to particiapate in transforming this property into a vibrant marina and commercial operation.

High Street between Dover Avenue and Helene Street
Friday, April 10th - 8:30am to 1pm

 The Town of New Glasgow wishes to advise residents and motorists that new sewer main work will take place on High Street between Dover Avenue and Helene Street on Friday, April 10th , 2026, from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

High St. will be closed between High St. and Dover Ave., traffic control will be in place including detours where necessary. Please drive safely through this worksite and be aware of pedestrians, workers, and work vehicles

New Glasgow Regional Police (NGRP) is seeking a passionate, skilled Community Crisis Outreach Worker (CCOW) to help redefine how our community responds to substance use, overdose, mental health crises, and complex social challenges.

Reporting to the Chief of Police, this licensed clinical professional will be embedded within NGRP as part of our enhanced Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) model — working at the intersection of public safety and public health.
